4th of July

Week 6

This week is week 6. The final week. We are leaving next Monday. It has been SO MUCH FUN staying here, but Mommy has to get home and clean the house before the 4th of July. Daddy always buys tons of fireworks to light off at night. It will be lots of fun.

Mommy got some extremely sad news earlier this week about my Uncle Jeff. She is too sad to talk about it now, but I promise to post one day soon about my favorite uncle. So we need to get home so she can clean house, and get everything in order so she can go to California. She said she is sorry she didnt get too many pictures this week, I did my best to make sure I was a good boy to cheer her up. I think I succeeded, I did lots of things that made Mommy smile.

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY!!!

Today was so nice! Daddy had the day off so we went to breakfast & then to the Miami Children's Museum. They had a new dinosaur exhibit we wanted to see. We had so much fun but Mommy forget her camera AND her iphone so we didnt get any photos. After that, we came back to the camper and took a nap and watched movies.

Homestead Week 5

This week was fun. We did some fun things, like swimming, shopping (I like to push the shopping cart myself) going to dinner with Daddy and going to the MOVIES! Mommy & I saw Toy Story 3 in 3D the day it came out. I was a very good boy and sat in my seat or on Mommy's lap for the whole movie. There was a big storm outside so the theatre lost power half way thru. Mommy said it was an "intermission" and let me run around until it started again. I only had to go potty one time and had no accidents! It was fun! I got to eat my own popcorn and had my own drink and snacked on m&ms too! What a fun trip. It was still raining when we got out, and we got soaked on the way back to the camper.

AND I DID IT ALL BY MYSELF!!

Mommy decided about 10 days ago that she was going to potty train me. She taught me how to go potty, and I was doing it well but didn't seem to "want" to go. So after 6 amazing days, she stopped and put me back in diapers. Mommy knew I could do it but said she would wait until I wanted to do it...no matter how long that took. 3 days after we stopped, I told Mommy I had to go potty and I've been going ever since!!! I have only had TWO accidents in 6 days! I wear underwear all day except for at nap and when I sleep. I also wear pull ups when we go on outings, like to the store or out to eat, but I go potty there too and haven't had an accident outside of the house.

I am 25 months old, and I am potty trained!!!! Mommy & Daddy are SO PROUD of me!

Homestead, Week 4

Ahhh, Week 4....this is officially the longest vacation I've ever been on. But I'm having tons of fun and am learning new things (will get to that in a new post) Here are some pictures that Mommy took this past week. And if you're wondering why I'm eating in just about all of them, well...its because its the only time Mommy can catch me sitting still. I enjoyed a popsicle...

My New Friend

This is Rex. He is the 2nd coolest ** dinosaur I know. (and believe me, I know a LOT of cool dinosaurs) He is from the toy story movies. Mommy already has a toy story collection of toys for me, and thought this would be perfect. Dinosaurs are my new favorite thing, plus it adds to the collection! I LOVE HIM!!! I was a little scared of the odd "roar" he makes at first but now you will rarely find the two of us apart. He goes everywhere with us (which is the reason Mommy can't seem to remember where she put her wallet) and I love to play with Rex. Thank you Daddy for saying YES when Mommy asked you if we could buy him! First night home, I put my shoes on him. Our feet are almost the same sizeI'm making sure he feels ok. (see the dr kit beside us?)

**THIS IS THE COOLEST DINOSAUR I'VE EVER MET. IT IS SITTING IN THE PARKING LOT AT DADDY'S WORK AT THE TURKEY POINT POWER PLANT. MOMMY LOOKED UP INFORMATION ON IT AND SHE DISCOVERED THAT THIS IS THE 2ND DINO THEY BUILT HERE, THE FIRST ONE WAS KNOCKED DOWN BY A HURRICAINE. THIS GUY IS TWICE ITS SIZE (look at the size of the truck behind it and you'll get an idea of how big it is). THEY PUT THIS HERE TO PAY HOMAGE TO THE FOSSIL FUEL PLANT NEAR THE NUCLEAR PLANT. IVE GONE TO DADDY'S WORK A FEW TIMES NOW AND LOOOOOVE SEEING THIS DINOSAUR!!!

Week 3, Homestead

Ok, so Mommy didn't get too many pictures this week. She was a bit preoccupied (more on that later) but she didn't want to leave you picture-less so here are a few of me just being ME!

June Photo Shoot

Mommy & I haven't played with the camera or Mommy's super-cool photo software lately, so we walked around the outlet malls today to have some fun & get some pictures. It was 105* out so we didn't last longer than 30 minutes, but Mommy got some nice photos of me. I think taking pictures of me is Mommy's favorite hobby. She's lucky I'm such a cheese ball and tolerate her paparazzi-like behavior.

Week 2 in Homestead

We stayed in Homestead, FL another week, and we had lots of fun! Here are some of the things we did:

We played at the fountains at the outlet mall I tried to climb in!

Daddy had Sunday off & we took a drive to Islamorada. We saw this bird walking around near the bait shop. He was hoping no one would notice him... He stole a fish!!! Then we went to Bass Pro Shop and saw some fishies They were so cool! I got to drive a boat Well, it was just pretend. We also went swimming... Ate yummy food... Fed some food to my gecko... Went swimming again... And of course, updated my blog!!!
