Valentine's Portraits

Here are the pictures Mommy took for Valentine's Day. I was in a very good mood today, she got some great pictures. Check the mail for them, they were sent out last week!!

BUSTED!!!!

I was super cranky tonight, and after 3 hours of listening to me whine, Mommy put me in my bed for a time out. Tonight is garbage night so she took my diaper pail and took it outside. When she came back in my room to get me, I decided to cheer her up by showing her this!!!!! She smiled and hugged me and said "Finally!" Daddy & Mommy knew I could stand up because they saw my little teeth marks all over the top of my bed, but no one has seen be do it yet. You can see the plastic crib rails on the left and right of my crib, but they can't cover the sides!!!!

I have been crabby today because my 7th tooth is coming in. No one can believe how fast I'm growing. I am excited to get bigger. My 1st birthday is in 3 months!

Talking/Lab Visit

So, for those that know me, know that I talk. ALOT. I wake Mommy up every morning by singing into the monitor and keep her awake all day by talking. She says its cute, but I'm very noisy. I had everyone laughing at the lab today. I would scream and then look at everyone, and when they laughed, I would go "ha ha ha".
That was before the shot. I went in and watched Mommy get her blood work done. She had to get it done twice because I moved right when the needle went in her arm. She wasn't happy about that. But after her was my turn. If you have ever met me, you know that I don't really like to be poked or messed with. So when the nurse started poking my arm, I got mad. Mommy held me down and they took 1 vial of blood quickly but it hurt so bad. I cried and cried. After it was over Mommy told me I was a big boy and we went to toys r us and I got a toy.

I know how to say Mama, Dada, Baba, and Hot. I whisper the word Hot. Mommy isn't sure how I learned it but she says its stinkin cute.

Venturing Out Of My Room

So tonight for the first time, I crawled out of my room! I'm getting some courage. I crawled down the hall and into Mommy & Daddy's room with no help! I don't need no stinking help! I know exactly where I'm going!

9 Month Doctor Visit

I went to see Dr Madden today for my 9 month visit. I weigh 24 pounds and I am 30 inches tall. Thats the 95th percentile for both. Dr Madden was happy to see my 6 teeth and he is impressed with how well I am eating. He laughed when Mommy told him I was eating chicken nuggets.

I didn't get any shots today but I have to go to a lab and get blood work done. I don't know what that means but it doesn't sound good.

Pulling Myself Up To Stand

Mommy realized that I had a disadvantage because we don't have a coffee table in our loft. All of my friends are already pulling up to stand by themselves. So Mommy put a stool in the loft to see if I would do it and sure enough, I did it within 2 days of her putting it in here! I'm so smart! I'm going to be 9 months old tomorrow, Mommy and Daddy can't believe it!!! They better believe it because pretty soon I'll be walking!!!

Officially Crawling!!

So after months of rolling and attempting to crawl, I am officially crawling! Mommy and Daddy said "finally" when I finally did it. I get into lots of trouble. As if I didn't get into enough before I was crawling. This is where Mommy found me tonight. She called me a Naughty Little Bear. But as you can see from my big smile, I didn't care. I am also offically sitting too. I could sit before but HATED it! I fought with Mommy every time. Now I can sit up on my own, and crawl around and then sit when I want to. I'm really enjoying it!

Also Mommy wanted me to tell you that i DO have more than one pair of pajamas. In most of my pictures recently, I seem to be wearing these. But we are having a cold front and most of my pjs are short sleeved. Its not cold enough to go out and buy a bunch more long sleeved pjs. 4 pairs is enough.

Walker

Mommy & Daddy went out and bought me a walker. They said my lazy butt needs to get moving. Thank you Uncle Robbie & Auntie Lisa for the gift card that purchased this for me. I can't walk forward yet, but I can go backwards. Mommy said thats a start.

BALL PIT!!

Can you see the static in my hair?? I've been practically living in my ball pit lately. Its so much fun! Daddy took all the balls out of it and I like it more. The balls were cramping my style.

Spaghetti Time!!!!!!!!!

Mommy was feeling daring today. She let me eat spaghetti all by myself. I'm getting a lot better at eating with my hands now. Most of it goes into my mouth instead of the floor. I was in heaven! A whole plate of spaghetti and green beans just for me!!!! I loved every second of it, and afterwards, Mommy didn't even clean me up. She just tossed me in my bathtub and hosed me down. I'm guessing I'll only be eating spaghetti on bath days.

New Bath Tub

Mommy & Daddy were having too much trouble with me in the grown up tub. I kept falling forward or backward because it was so slippery. So Mommy got this for me. She originally bought it because it looks like an old tub, but she used it as a toy bucket. Well, I have a new toybox, so this was empty. It works perfect! I think I'm actually going to start liking my baths now!

My First Trip To The PARK!!!!

Check me out!! Mommy & Daddy took me to the park!! I had a lot of fun on the swing!! Daddy took me down the slide, but I couldn't really get the hang of that. I stood on the playground and touched everything. I spent the whole afternoon wearing my sunglasses too. I didn't really care for them, but Daddy made sure I kept them on! I can't wait to go back!!

New Toy Box

Daddy & Mommy bought me a big giant toy box!! I got so much stuff for Christmas, and since me, Mommy & Daddy only have one small living room; We were running out of space. Its a race car toy box, and I decided to test it out before we put any toys in.

If it will hold me, it should have no problem holding toys!!!
